Terms of Service

These terms cover the web design service offered at aetherai.pro/websites — the sites I build for businesses. They are separate from AETHER's own product terms, which cover the AI content platform and its use of the YouTube API.

The service

I design and build websites for businesses. Two kinds of projects: landing / brochure sites (a simple site that gets a business found and contactable online), and full-stack sites or web apps (sites with payments, logins, a database, or other custom functionality).

Payment

• A 50% deposit is required before any work begins. This deposit is non-refundable.
• The remaining 50% is due on delivery, before the finished site goes live or the keys/handoff are provided.

Revisions

Every project includes 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revision rounds beyond that may incur an extra fee, quoted before the work starts.

Timeline

Estimated timelines are given per project. They depend on the client supplying required materials — logo, photos, and text — promptly. Delays in supplying materials will delay the project accordingly.

Handoff

On receipt of final payment, the site is deployed to the client's own hosting account and the client receives the login and keys to that account. Domain names are the client's own asset and expense — I don't own or charge ongoing fees for domains.

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for the accuracy of all content they provide, and confirms they have the right to use any images, text, or logos supplied for the project.

Liability

Work is delivered as-is on completion. I'm not liable for downtime on the client's own hosting, outages of third-party services the site relies on, or losses arising from the client's use of the site after handoff.

Changes after handoff

Once a site is handed off, future edits or additions are treated as a new, separately paid request — or covered by an optional ongoing care plan, if one is offered and agreed to.
